There are many ways to divide the level of universities in our country, from the recent "double first-class" universities, to the 985 project and the 211 project. They are all highly recognized categories.

Earlier, there used to be a method of classifying universities supported by the state. This is what we often call "key" universities. As of 1981, there were 99 key universities nationwide.

Although this statement has been abolished, it is still talked about by many people. It is also an important indicator of school inspection. The following three former key universities still have two enrollments, which can be said to be very cost-effective.

(1) Shanghai Normal University

Shanghai Normal University is the only two normal colleges among the key universities (there is also Beijing Normal University), and it is also well-known among domestic normal colleges.

At present, Shanghai Normal University has a mix of first- and second-level admissions in most parts of the country (different majors, arts and sciences), but the second-level majors have very high scores, and some areas even exceed the first-level. So be careful when applying.

Another advantage of applying for Shanghai Normal University is that there is a “transfer exam” for freshman students in Shanghai every year. Those who pass the exam have the opportunity to transfer to Fudan University, Tongji University and other well-known universities in the country.

(2) Xinjiang University

Xinjiang University was selected as a national key university in 1978, and then successfully selected for the 211 project, and recently was successfully selected as a double-first-class university. It can be said that it has a lot of names.

However, due to the remote location, thousands of kilometers away from the mainland, Xinjiang University's score is not high.

The first-class majors usually have a score of 10-30 points higher than the first-line majors, and the second-class majors are recruited all over the country (with high scores in science and low liberal arts)

But in addition to the remote location, other conditions are very good, whether it is graduation to find a job, suitable as a springboard for postgraduate entrance examination and postgraduate research, it is a good choice.

(3) Southwest Forestry University

Southwest Forestry University is located in Yunnan, formerly known as Yunnan Forestry College, which is one of the second batch of 88 key universities. In 2013, he obtained the doctoral degree authorization qualification, and his own strength is not bad.

At present, it is a first-level enrollment in Yunnan, while in other regions it is a second-level enrollment (in the middle-range of the second-level and the upper score, mainly for science enrollment). Strong disciplines are forestry and biology majors.

Conclusion: The above three colleges and universities once held the title of key universities, and currently have two types of admissions, so the cost-effectiveness of applying for the test is still very high. Candidates with relevant scores can pay appropriate attention.
