In fact, as long as you want to learn, there are so many things you can do during the winter vacation! Some students will choose to read a few books carefully and write reading notes during the winter vacation; some students will choose to practice calligraphy during the winter vacation and write beautifully; some students will even buy online books for the next semester. The textbooks used, and then start previewing, learning ahead of time. So, is it necessary to study the textbooks for the next semester in advance during the winter vacation?
On this issue, there are two main arguments: one is that there is no need to study in advance, because many children will be complacent in the next semester after studying in advance during the holidays, thinking that they know what the teacher says, so they don’t follow the teacher’s pace, efficiency Low, resulting in a series of chain reactions, the final result but lag behind. Moreover, there are too many things for students to learn, and they cannot be limited to textbook knowledge. If children have time during the winter vacation, they might as well read a few more books, broaden their horizons more, or accumulate more knowledge in other areas. It is really unnecessary. Putting all energy into the test-oriented education system is too narrow, and it cannot cultivate real talents after all.
There is also a view that it is necessary to study in advance during the winter vacation. "Stupid birds fly first", even if you are not stupid, you should preview the content of the next semester in advance, so that the next semester will not be too difficult to learn, and it is more difficult to show that compared with before, the knowledge students learn is more and more difficult, and Most students will study in advance or even take bridge classes, which makes the teacher feel that everyone knows this knowledge, and the lecture will be more concise, and if you do not preview, you will naturally not be able to keep up. Just like making up a class, although you don’t want to make up for it in your heart, everyone else is making it up. If you don’t make it up, you will fall behind.
In fact, I think this issue needs to be analyzed in detail. First of all, I am against the behavior of sending children into so-called "bridging classes" in advance during the winter vacation, especially for children in primary and secondary schools, it is really unnecessary. If the child has time and conditions, it is completely okay to preview the content of the next semester at home, such as memorizing English words and ancient poems in Chinese textbooks. You don't have to worry about everyone else learning ahead of time, and if you don't learn ahead of time, you will fall behind.
The winter vacation is an important watershed for students' learning. As long as children want to learn, they can learn anything at home during the winter vacation. Don't think that only learning textbook knowledge is called learning, and only serving for exams is called learning, which is too narrow.
