It is not an easy task to gain a foothold in the workplace. Today, the editor will share with you some of my own experiences:

[1] First cultivate your own interest in work from looking for happy things

When you're sitting on a beach bench with a cocktail and enjoying the cool ocean breeze, it's sure to be easy to spot the things that make you happy. And if you're sitting in an office with a mountain of work in front of you, it's too challenging to do.

Still, I'd ask you to try to find some - if only one - at work that makes you feel good, such as the comfy office chair, the good free coffee in the pantry, or the fact that you really Like to chat with a few colleagues over lunch.

Then, find ways to keep yourself focused on those things—don’t think about anything else—one day, two days, three days. Let's see if your mentality has changed a lot, and your whole body has also increased a lot of positive energy? Once this approach works in the workplace, you can take the same approach and bring positivity into the rest of your life.

[2] Don't have a negative impact at work, such as doing something that has a lot of influence, doing it well, etc.

There are always people and things with pessimism and negative emotions everywhere, so it is not as simple as avoiding them. You have to cut off the energy that makes you pessimistic and negative at the root. If negative factors in the workplace are keeping you from staying positive, this is a great opportunity to find out the root cause of the situation, and you can learn more about why the workplace is making you feel this way. We all know that everything has two sides, the key depends on how you look at it. Therefore, it is also possible to change the state of being haunted by negative energy.

[3] Improve your business skills and the accumulation of work experience to complete the irreplaceable work

Once you get stuck in a job for too long, especially one that pays well and pays well, you are likely to lose motivation to learn, let alone improve your professional skills. In fact, there are many opportunities to improve yourself. For example, you can participate in vocational training or professional clubs. These are all good ways to inspire your professional inspiration and expand your personal network. And your day-to-day work will appear less boring and tedious in such an event. It's simply not realistic to just sit there and wait for someone else to offer you an opportunity to change. Such opportunities need to be created by yourself.

【4】Beyond the people around you, you must first learn positive things from them

The biggest challenge in the workplace is getting along with co-workers who are unusual. When working with such colleagues, don't worry about how they can make up for being like normal people, but find out what you can learn from them. You can ask yourself: why do you find them annoying?

In fact, everyone around us is a mirror, and they can reflect some of the qualities that we are afraid to show or hope to have. Why do those people always annoy you? What do you have to do to calm down? Ask yourself again: How can you remedy this situation?

So, instead of wrestling with how annoying a colleague is, find a way to improve the situation. For example, change the orientation of your desk, or consciously remind yourself that no matter what the other person says or does, don't get frustrated by it.

Because we can't change the behavior of others, the best way is to change our own mindset.

[5] If you work hard, but you can't get the results you want, then you have to choose to change jobs and try.

Sometimes the best answer to a bad workplace problem is to leave. While changing a company doesn't necessarily guarantee a bright future, it's also the biggest test of your self-growth. So, if you find that your current work environment is truly unfit for you, it's not a matter of learning to adapt, it's a matter of your beliefs. You believe from the bottom of your heart that you can find a better, more suitable position for you.
