The poorer you are, the less willing you are to study. How to solve the school weariness of children in poverty-stricken areas? "If you persuade me to go to school again, I will jump off the building and commit suicide." Why do children in poverty-stricken areas refuse to study?

Once, we all regarded reading as the best way to change our destiny, especially for some children from poor families, it is almost the only way. At that time, we believed that if we study hard and pass the university entrance exam, we can live a better life in the future.

Now, however, all that seems to have changed a bit. In some impoverished areas of China, children there no longer believe in the so-called fate of changing their name to reading. They even believe in the so-called theory that reading is useless, and they do not want to read at all. Anorexia is spreading like a virus in many impoverished areas.

Some children in poverty-stricken areas drop out of school early and are unwilling to continue their studies. There are even some extreme examples. After a child in the southwestern mountainous area dropped out of school, facing an adult who came to persuade him to continue to school, he threatened to "persuade me to go to school again, and I will commit suicide by jumping off the building".

These children who do not want to go to school mainly have two situations.

One is to go out to work early, become a migrant worker, and then live an ant-like life in a big city. The outside world seems to have a natural temptation for them, and they desperately want to go out and make a lot of money, although the possibility of this is very remote.

There are also some children who drop out of school and stay at home, doing nothing but holding their mobile phones all day long. They don’t know where the future is. They just stubbornly believe that the future is not in school. This kind of house makes people feel sad and regretful.

So, why are the children in these impoverished areas reluctant to go to school? I try to analyze the reasons behind it.

First of all, I have to say that mobile phones and the Internet are to blame. Nowadays, children's addiction to mobile phones in rural areas has become a big social problem. Mobile games, online celebrity live broadcasts, these bizarre things on the Internet make these children addicted and unable to extricate themselves. Their minds have long ceased to study.

Second, there is an increasing market for the theory of the uselessness of reading in some poor areas. A lot of people think, what can you do even if you study? Not to go out to work in the end. In that case, it's better to go out to work early! You can also make more money! It costs money to go to school. They looked at the young people who went out to work early, and they were very generous, which had an attraction to them. It's just that they don't know how hard it is to go out to work.

In addition, many children in poverty-stricken areas and rural areas are generally raised by the elderly at home across generations, but how can the elderly control these children! The lack of family education is also a big reason for their weariness.

If things go on like this, the school-weariness of children in poverty-stricken areas will only intensify, and their poverty will become more and more difficult to get rid of.

The author would like to say that no matter what, education is always the fundamental means to block the intergenerational transmission of poverty.

What do you think about the fact that children in poverty-stricken areas are reluctant to study?
