What should I do if my subordinates are disobedient and behave in disobedience?

For many managers, it is definitely a headache for their subordinates to be disobedient, to behave in disobedience, to perform work, and to deliberately seek trouble.

However, if such a situation really occurs, we must reflect on whether we have not done well, and whether we have not handled the relationship between superiors and subordinates.

It can be reflected from the following four aspects:

1. Do you have prestige in the hearts of your subordinates?

If managers want to establish prestige in the hearts of their subordinates, they must lead by example.

Go to work at 9 o'clock every day, and you don't have to come back at 10 o'clock every day. If you can't do it, your subordinates will know that you are late every day, and they will be late too, as long as you arrive at the company in front of you.

So, start with small things, you must do it first, maintain order and rules, then everyone will listen to you, and you will have prestige.

2. Is there anything wrong with criticizing subordinates?

For many managers, when their subordinates do bad things, they just scold them at the top of their heads, and the subordinates don't even have a chance to defend themselves, so why don't they ask indiscriminately!

If you are still in the stage of management relying on roaring, then you really need to reflect on it. This management method will only make you less and less authoritative.

Criticizing subordinates suggests paying attention to the following three points:

(1) Be justified and based on facts and do not make personal attacks

(2) Pay attention to the occasion and save face for your subordinates

(3) Pay attention to the tone and proportion, not to undermine the confidence of subordinates and dampen their enthusiasm

3. Are you being fair?

Many managers only think about their own interests at work, regardless of the interests of the team and the interests of their subordinates.

For example, the sales team is the team sales champion, and others are only assigned to fight for themselves.

There is also a class of managers who, when encountering problems, do not start from the interests of the company, they often clean themselves first and let the team take the blame.

It is difficult for such managers to win the respect of their subordinates, let alone do a good job of leadership.

4. Are you consistent with your words and deeds?

If the team does not trust you and does not cooperate well with you, you should reflect on whether you have achieved the same consistency between the outside and the inside, and the people before and after are consistent, and you must not do one thing in person and another behind it. There is no airtight wall in the workplace. You want to ask everyone for credit in front of the team, but you go to the leader to ask for credit. Do you really think everyone doesn't know? So, don't behave inconsistently.

Therefore, if you want to handle the relationship with your subordinates well, you must do well in these four points: establish prestige, criticize with reason, be dedicated to the public, and be consistent between the inside and the outside.
