People are floating in the workplace, how can they not be criticized. I like to be praised, but I don’t like to criticize. I believe that people share the same heart, but frankly speaking, it is your luck to meet a boss who works for you and criticizes you if you don’t do well. Don’t think that your boss is a good boss if you don’t criticize you. Everyone gets together because of the common goal—completing company performance or tasks. Your boss criticizes you because you are an employee who can be saved. If your boss doesn’t criticize you at all, If you hand over the work to other colleagues, then you may be waiting for you to have a heart-to-heart talk with the HR department.

But one thing to admit is that no one will think that what they have done is wrong. When faced with the criticism of the boss, many times the subconscious reaction is that the criticized person will get emotional and think that what you have done is wrong. Isn't it a bit unreasonable? So, when it comes to boss criticism, no matter the reason, whether the boss is emotional or fact-based, you may want to keep the following points in mind:

  1. Objectively analyze why your boss criticizes you? Your boss generally has an expectation of you. When you are lower than your boss's expectation, or your boss's plan can't keep up with changes - your efforts have not achieved what your boss requires, or even dragged your boss's back, your boss may be emotionally overwhelmed. Come up and correct you by means of criticism - when we were young, when teachers criticized, didn't we teach this way? Then the criticism raised by the boss is that I hope you can correct your behavior.

  2. The mood is stable, don't rush to defend, don't have a resistance mentality, first listen to the content of the boss's criticism? Whether he is telling the truth or venting his emotions, in any case, don't talk back in public, and don't get angry. First of all, you must suppress your emotions first, and don't look at this with emotions. To review the whole process, in which step did you fail to do the right thing, or in which link, what problems did you raise, which caused your boss to criticize? Many times, there is a lack of communication between us and our boss, because we need to understand the boss's expectations and what he expects of us, so that I can do my job well. And whether the goal set by your boss is in line with your current ability or real situation, should you implement it first and then give feedback, or should you first exchange your ideas and suggestions with your boss, let your boss give some suggestions and feedback, and confirm whether you have done it ok?

  3. If there is, change it, if not, add encouragement. Criticizing subordinates is one of the job responsibilities of your boss, and your boss has more responsibility than you. It is inevitable to make mistakes in work. When leaders criticize, they should accept criticism and actively correct them, and have the courage to bear the adverse consequences caused by mistakes. If you are humble and responsible, many leaders are willing to help you fix it. You must learn your own lesson and correct it immediately. If the boss is emotionally out of control, it is understandable, the boss is also a human being, and everyone chooses to forgive when they lose their way.

  4. When you are under a lot of pressure, you can talk to your family and couples to reduce stress, commonly known as dumping the garbage, but remember not to complain to your colleagues and spread negative remarks.
