On April 27, 2022, CNN, FOX, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and other calibers unanimously released news-Fauci says US is out of pandemic phase. Translated into Chinese, the United States has come out COVID-19 pandemic.

This is not an easy consensus for the United States, because we know that the United States is a country with relatively divided cultures, especially in recent years, it is often difficult for liberals and conservatives to reach a unified view on some issues. But this time, the left and the right have reached a high degree of agreement on Fauci's announcement that the United States is out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fauci believes that a pandemic is a widespread and rapid spread of disease, and the United States has come out of it.

Now the real American epidemic is: most places in the United States have green codes. However, this green means low risk, not zero cases. In fact, the infection is still happening all the time, but many people don't go to the test and don't take it seriously.

Specifically, the low risk in the United States is determined by the number of new cases per 100,000 population and the proportion of COVID-19 patients in hospitals. Of course, this data is indeed very inaccurate. If there are few people who actively report, the proportion will be very low. As for why many people do not take the initiative to report, the reason is that many people do not take the current stage of the epidemic seriously.

Looking at the current state of vaccination in the United States, 82.4% of people over the age of 5 have had at least one shot.

But infection data from the latest CDC data show that as of the end of February, 58 percent of Americans had been infected with COVID-19, and among children, the rate was as high as 75 percent. This is what the CDC has seen in previous research reports, the so-called breakthrough infection problem after vaccination. The risk of reinfection in the post-vaccination population is about 10% higher than the infection risk in the naturally immune population.

At present, some experts in the United States have begun to reflect on the problems caused by vaccination, and the follow-up research on the side effects after mRNA vaccination has become more and more in-depth.

What needs to be confirmed is that Fauci’s announcement this time does not mean that COVID-19 is over in the United States, but that COVID-19 is no longer a pandemic, but an endemic. Also, the COVID-19 virus will not leave the human community for a short period of time.

This leaves us two thoughts: 1. Could it be that their research on this virus is not deep enough? Their scientific research level is not enough? After leading to collective dementia in American society, has this virus reached such a high degree of consensus? 2. Without the requirement of mandatory vaccination, with the release of the CDC breakthrough infection report and the emergence of some side effects reports, the vaccination rate in the United States may face a decline, so will it cause some other countries to start to decline? Pursuing the vaccination rate, this still needs to be observed.
